The Graham Norton Show - series 13, episode 10

Episode 10 of the current series of The Graham Norton Show will not be shown this week out of consideration to our many Downton Abbey fans as it contains numerous plot spoilers. This episode will be scheduled later on in the year and instead Lee Evans: Big Live at the 02 will be shown on Tuesday night.

Why are the Antiques Roadshow episodes currently showing on Entertainment so old? Much worse, are the Cash in the Attic episodes currently showing on Lifestyle. Not only are these ancient, but have been repeated so many times that I am almost wordperfect on the dialogue in each of them. Then I noticed Bargain Hunt resurfacing, but alas these are also tired old reruns! I receive newsletters from a number of UK auctioneers and they frequently refer to visits by the teams from Cash in the Attic, Flog it (a fond but distant memory), Bargain Hunt etc. If newer (and not seen before, many many times) shows are being shown on BBC in the UK, why can't we see them in South Africa?

BBC

Dear Philip,

Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in South Africa.

We are sorry that you feel that certain series of Antiques Roadshow, Bargain Hunt, and Cash In The Attic are shown too frequently. These are very popular shows and many viewers enjoy the opportunity to see their favourite episodes more than once, however we understand that as a regular viewer, and a fan of those programmes, you'd like to see fresh content. We constantly invest in new titles and series to keep our viewers up to date with new programming, although sometimes due to licensing issues we are not able to show new series of programmes as quickly as many of our viewers may expect. We premiered series 13 of Cash In The Attic in February, and there will be another opportunity to see it on BBC Lifestyle in August. We also hope you'll enjoy some of our upcoming premieres, such as series 10 of Grand Designs, as well as Marbella Mansions, both on BBC Lifestyle in July.

Best wishes,

when can we see the paradise series 2 ?

BBC

Dear Tony,

Thank you for your message to BBC

We appreciate your interest in The Paradise and while it has been confirmed that a second series of this drama has been commissioned it is too early to confirm whether it will be shown on BBC Entertainment, however we will certainly note your interest in seeing series 2.

In the meantime we do hope you are currently enjoying the second series of the hugely popular Call The Midwife.

Thank you for contacting us.

Best wishes,

Why have you taken Shaun the Sheep off air on Cbeebies? Part of the bed time routine of going to sleep for my 2 and a half year old daughter is watching Teletubbies, then In the Night Garden and then watching the 2 short episodes of Shaun the Sheep, then she knows it is bedtime. I realize there are only 100 shows and they are still busy making the 3rd season of Shaun the Sheep but she is absolutely distraught now that it is not on anymore. Buz and Tell and Kerwhizz (quiz shows) are not appropriate entertainment at that time of night for little ones. Please bring back Shaun The Sheep!

BBC

Dear Justin,

Thank you for your message to CBeebies in South Africa.

We are grateful for your interest in CBeebies programmes. You will be pleased to know that Teletubbies and In The Night Garden will remain in their evening slots, and your comments about the scheduling of Buzz & Tell and Kerwhizz will be passed on to the relevant department. We have also noted your request to see Shaun The Sheep again. Our schedules are constantly evolving as a result of audience feedback and viewer preferences, and sometimes popular programmes take a break between series. We are always delighted to hear programme requests from viewers, and we welcome comments on our schedules. Although we don't have plans to show Shaun The Sheep at the moment, it may return in future. We hope you'll enjoy some of our upcoming premieres such as a new series of Nina & The Neurons, on CBeebies from 24 June.

Best wishes,

CBeebies

We love the Apprentice with Alan Sugar, ooops, sorry, Sir Alan, but it hasn't been screened for a while in SA and we thought it had been cancelled.

We recently saw Sir Alan on the Graham Norton show and he was talking about season 9, I think the last season in SA was season 4.

Can we expect to see the Apprentice again in SA?

BBC

Dear Jonathan,

Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in South Africa.

Unfortunately we do not currently have plans to show any further series of The Apprentice, but your request has been noted and will be passed on to the relevant department. Meanwhile, we hope you'll enjoy some of our upcoming premieres, such as a new series of Spy, on BBC Entertainment from 9 July, and a brand new quiz show The Chase, from 11 July.

Could not watch Criminal Justice Series 2 part 5 and 6 as we had a power outage for some 18 hours. Is there a chance of these episodes being repeated?

BBC

Dear Ben,

Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in South Africa.

We are sorry you didn't have a chance to see episode 5, the final episode of series 2 of Criminal Justice. Unfortunately we do not have plans to show the series again in the near future, but we hope you'll enjoy crime series DCI Banks, series 1 of which is currently premiering on BBC Entertainment.

Best wishes,

When are you going to stop the constant repeats of the old Top Gear episodes they are really out of date, one can see how the presenters have aged. Sometimes you have them on BBC ent and knowledge at the same time. Enough is enough I have paid for them 10 times over.

BBC

Dear Bob,

Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in South Africa.

We are sorry to hear that you feel some episodes of Top Gear have been shown too frequently. Top Gear is a hugely popular show with a large portion of our audience who often enjoy seeing episodes they may have missed the first time they were shown, or enjoy watching episodes more than once. We showed series 19 of Top Gear on BBC Entertainment in South Africa very shortly after its premiere in the UK, and this month there will be another chance to see it on BBC Entertainment, along with series 3 of Top Gear USA. We also hope you'll find some of our upcoming premieres interesting, for instance a crime series DCI Banks, on BBC Entertainment from 14 June, and Engineering Giants, on BBC Knowledge from 20 June.
