All-round marinade for meat and chicken

• 1 cup (250ml) canola and olive oil blend
• 4 cloves garlic, crushed
• Juice of 2 lemons
• 2 tsp (10ml) paprika
• 1 tsp (5ml) ground cumin
• 1 tsp (5ml) ground coriander
• 1 tsp (5ml) sugar or honey
• Salt and milled pepper
• Fresh herbs of your choice

Preparation method

  1. Mix all ingredients together, except the herbs.
  2. Bottle, and use as needed.
  3. To use, add a handful of chopped fresh herbs, pour over meat or chicken and marinate for 1 hour, or longer if time allows. You can also use as a basting sauce.
