Ingredients
• 1 baguette or ciabatta loaf
• Seasoned olive oil
• Buffalo-style mozzarella
• Ripe tomatoes
• Fresh basil
Preparation method
- Slice a baguette or cibatta loaf about three-quarters the way through.
- Liberally brush each slice with seasoned olive oil.
- Arrange a slice each of buffalo-style mozzarella and ripe tomato plus a fresh basil leave between each slice.
- Wrap in foil and braai over medium coals, or bake in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes.
