• 1 baguette or ciabatta loaf
• Seasoned olive oil
• Buffalo-style mozzarella
• Ripe tomatoes
• Fresh basil

Preparation method

  1. Slice a baguette or cibatta loaf about three-quarters the way through.
  2. Liberally brush each slice with seasoned olive oil.
  3. Arrange a slice each of buffalo-style mozzarella and ripe tomato plus a fresh basil leave between each slice.
  4. Wrap in foil and braai over medium coals, or bake in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes.
