Chilli, Rosemary and Poppy Seed Savoury Biscuits

Ingredients

Biscuit:

  • 375g Flour
  • 2ml Salt
  • 100g Butter
  • 40ml Water
  • 2ea. Eggs
  • 50ml Dry Chilli Flakes
  • 30ml Poppy Seeds
  • 50ml Coarse Salt
  • 15ml Rosemary
  • 2ml Baking Powder 

Preparation method

Biscuits:

  • Preheat oven to 180’C
  • Mix all ingredients except 1 egg and chilli to form dough.
  • Roll out and cut into 5cm biscuits.
  • Place on a baking tray.
  • Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt and chilli flakes
  • Bake for 12-15min until crisp and golden.
  • Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
