Ingredients

Serves: 4-5 people

Preparation time: 45 min + setting time

  • 285 g mascarpone cheese
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup icing sugar
  • 1 tsp vanila essence
  • 90 ml water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp instant coffee powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 18 lady finger biscuits
  • 60 ml whipping cream
  • 15 g icing sugar
  • 1 tbsp Kahlua liqueur

Preparation method

  • Mix mascarpone and sugar. Set aside.
  • Whip cream, icing sugar and vanilla essence.
  • Fold cream into mascarpone mixture.
  • Combine hot water, sugar and coffee.
  • Dip biscuits into coffee mixture.
  • Place in individual dishes.
  • Spoon layer of mascarpone mixture over biscuits.
  • Repeat biscuit layer and mascarpone filling.
  • Whip together cream, icing sugar and Kahlua.
  • Place swirl of cream mixture on top of each dish.
  • Sprinkle with cocoa powder.
