Hannes’s Boere Sushi

Ingredients

Serves: 4-6 people

Preparation time: 1-2 hrs

  • 5 ml salt
  • 3 cups maize
  • 1 cup sweetcorn
  • 12 lamb sausages
  • 300 g greens / mixed vegetables
  • 300 g tomatoes
  • 300 g onions
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp chilli
  • 150 ml oil
  • 150 ml vinegar
  • 50 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sugar

Preparation method

  • Add maize, salt and water into slow cooker.
  • After a short while, add sweetcorn.
  • Cook sausages.
  • Mix together all sauce ingredients and bring to the boil.
  • Stir fry greens / mixed veg.
  • Roll maize and sausage and cut into pieces like sushi.
  • Plate together with greens and add sauce.
