Hannes’s Holy Malva

Ingredients

Serves: 4-6 people

Preparation time: 60 min

  • 5 ml bicarbonate of soda
  • 125 ml milk
  • 200 g self-raising flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 30 ml apricot jam
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 ml salt
  • 250 ml water
  • 250 ml cream
  • 230 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla

Preparation method

  • Mix bicarb into milk.
  • Mix together all other ingredients.
  • Place in baking dish, bake for 25 min.
  • Heat all sauce ingredients, pour over dessert, when ready to serve.
