Imke’s Homemade Chorizo Pasta

Ingredients

Serves: 4 people

Preparation time: 2-3 hrs

  • 1 onion
  • 3 chillies
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 250 ml cream
  • 1 pkt chorizo

Preparation method

  • In a bowl, mix together flour and salt.
  • Make hole in centre of mixture, add beaten egg.
  • Add water and mix until dough consistency reached.
  • Knead dough for 6 min.
  • Use pasta machine to thin dough, cut into pasta pieces and allow to dry for 2 hrs
  • Make sauce: In a saucepan, cook onion in oil, add chillies, chorizo and cream.
  • Mix with pasta, serve.
