Ingredients

Doughnut:

  • 300ml condensed milk
  • 60ml butter ghee
  • 45ml semolina
  • 5ml green cardamom
  • 1 whole nutmeg
  • 10ml baking powder
  • 1ml bicarbonate of soda
  • 400ml flour
  • 500ml oil 
  • 250ml butter ghee 

Syrup / Glaze:

  • 400ml sugar
  • 400ml water
  • 5ml cardamom
  • 5ml rose essence
  • 50ml cream.
  • 1g saffron.

Burfee Filling:

  • 200ml cream
  • 200g milk powder
  • 250g icing sugar
  • 60ml butter ghee
  • 5ml cardamom
  • 30g pistachios
  • 1ml green gel

Garnish:

  • 5ea pink roses

Preparation method

Doughnut:

  • Beat condensed milk, ghee well.
  • Add semolina, spices. Baking powder.
  • Add flour, forming a soft dough.
  • Shape and deep fry.

Syrup / Glaze:

  • Boil sugar and water.
  • Add favouring.

Burfee Filling:

  • Heat cream.
  • Add sugar, ghee & cardamom.
  • Stir in milk powder.
