Jessica’s Italian Tiramisu with an African Twist

Ingredients

Serves: 4 people

Preparation time: 60 min

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp Amarula liqueur
  • 2 cups vanilla coffee
  • 1 pkt lady fingers biscuits
  • 1/3 cup cocoa

Preparation method

  • Whip cream, sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  • Add mascarpone and Amarula.
  • Dip lady fingers into coffee and lay in serving glasses.
  • Layer the fingers dipped in coffee with the cream mixture, then top off with cocoa.
  • Allow to set in fridge for 4 hrs.
