Lynn’s Angels Tipple & Truffles

Ingredients

Serves: 4-6 people

Preparation time: 2 hrs (includes chilling)

Angel's tipple

  • 400 ml whiskey
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 3 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp coffee granules

Truffles

  • 230 g dark chocolate
  • 230 g milk chocolate
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp liqueur
  • nuts and sprinkles, to garnish

Preparation method

Angel's tipple

  • Place all ingredients in blender, blend until smooth.
  • Served chilled, in small glasses.

Truffles

  • Chop chocolate, place in glass bowl.
  • Bring cream to slow boil. Remove from heat and pour into chocolate, through sieve.
  • Whisk cream and chocolate together until smooth.
  • Add liqueur and vanilla, stir.
  • Place in fridge to set.
  • Spoon balls of mixture onto baking paper and roll into balls.
  • Garnish with sprinkles and nuts.
  • Set in fridge.
