Parmesan Poppy Biscuits

Ingredients

Biscuit:

  • 250g Butter
  • 5ml Salt
  • 100g Grated Parmesan
  • 50g Strong Cheddar
  • 100g Poppy Seeds
  • 600ml Flour

Relish:

  • 2ea. Red onions
  • 50g Cranberries
  • 1ea. Green Chilli
  • 5ml Vinegar
  • 45ml Brown Sugar
  • 60ml Cranberry Juice

Preparation method

Biscuit:

  • Preheat Oven 180 degrees.
  • Beat butter and salt.
  • Add parmesan, cheddar and 10ml poppy seeds.
  • Sift in flour, soft dough.
  • Chill.
  • Shape biscuits, roll in poppy and bake at 180° for 10 minutes.
  • Remove, spoon relish on top.
  • Bake for further 5 minutes.

Relish:

  • Finely chop onion, chilli, and cranberry.
  • Combine all ingredients and cook on low heat until thick.
