Ingredients

Bread:

  • 1pkt Active Dry Yeast
  • 500ml Warm Water Divided
  • 125ml Oil
  • 2tbsp. Sugar
  • 30ml Molasses
  • 1tsp. Salt
  • 240g Flour
  • 240g Whole Wheat Flour
  • 50g Pumpkin Seeds
  • 50g Sesame Seeds
  • 50g Oats

Preparation method

Bread:

  • Preheat oven to 180 C
  • Dissolve yeast and one half of warm water, leave for 5 minute to sit
  • Add oil, sugar, molasses, salt and remaining water.
  • In a mixing bowl add all the flours and seeds
  • On a low speed with a dough hook and gradually add the water mixture
  • Knead for 2 minutes on a high speed
  • Turn out on a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic
  • Place in a greased bowl and cover and level to rise for 30 minutes
  • Punch the dough down and turn out on to a floured surface
  • Divide into two pieces
  • Roll out each piece into a sausage shaped
  • Intertwine the pieces
  • Place on a greased baking sheet
  • Cover with a dish towel and leave to rise for 15 to 20 minutes
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes
  • Place on wire rack to cool
