Ingredients
Bread:
- 1pkt Active Dry Yeast
- 500ml Warm Water Divided
- 125ml Oil
- 2tbsp. Sugar
- 30ml Molasses
- 1tsp. Salt
- 240g Flour
- 240g Whole Wheat Flour
- 50g Pumpkin Seeds
- 50g Sesame Seeds
- 50g Oats
Preparation method
Bread:
- Preheat oven to 180 C
- Dissolve yeast and one half of warm water, leave for 5 minute to sit
- Add oil, sugar, molasses, salt and remaining water.
- In a mixing bowl add all the flours and seeds
- On a low speed with a dough hook and gradually add the water mixture
- Knead for 2 minutes on a high speed
- Turn out on a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic
- Place in a greased bowl and cover and level to rise for 30 minutes
- Punch the dough down and turn out on to a floured surface
- Divide into two pieces
- Roll out each piece into a sausage shaped
- Intertwine the pieces
- Place on a greased baking sheet
- Cover with a dish towel and leave to rise for 15 to 20 minutes
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes
- Place on wire rack to cool
