Yvette’s Poached Pears & Cream

Ingredients

Serves: 4-6 people

Preparation time: 90 min

  • 6 pears
  • 500 ml port
  • 500 g cream
  • 2 sticks cinnamon

Preparation method

  • In saucepan, bring port to simmer.
  • Add pears and cinnamon. Cook on very low heat for 90 min, or until soft.
  • Serve with cream.
